Want to know how much your new fence could cost, but don't want to wait for an on-site estimator to come? Then you should try our free fence quoting tool.

Our web-based fence and gate designer has hundreds of variations/combinations for the frame, pickets, add-ons like lattices and kick-boards, different heights and widths, as well as other details like latches and hinges.

These 3D models accurately show what the finished project will look like. What you see is what gets built. The camera gives you a 360-degree view of the 3D model to see what every side looks like. We've also added optional 3D people and animals for scale.

The price estimates are based on real-time costs as it relates to your location. You can see the detailed specs for each configuration and know each component of your fence/gate.

The tool has a variety of features and in this post we'll show you exactly how to use it.

How to Start

The first step is to enter your address. This will help generate the material prices based on your area. Once you've done that, you'll be taken to the standard editor.

You'll see a 3D model of a fence on the left and customizable options on the right.

If you click and hold the 3D model, you can change the camera angle and see every part of your fence.

As you change the options on the right, the 3D model will change as well, showing you exactly what your fence will look like. The estimated price will also update with each change you make.

If you know exactly what you want, you can go ahead and choose those options in the editor. If you're not sure, you can spend some time trying out different options and see what would be a good fit for you.

Standard Editor vs. Advanced Editor

With our standard editor, you can choose from an assortment of our most popular fence and gate options. This ranges from fence type, picket build, height, and lattice style.

But maybe you're looking for a very specific kind of fence or want a more unique design? That's not a problem. Our Advanced Editor will let you do exactly that.

To use the Advanced Editor, click the "More Styles" option located at the top right of the 3D model window.

Here, you have access to even more customizable options.

You can choose less common options like horizontal pickets, piano key lattices, or different sized kick-boards, rails, posts, and more. You'll have complete control over every aspect of your fence.

Next Steps and Finishing Up

Once you've finished designing your fence, click the "Done" button in the bottom right corner and you'll be brought to a new page. Enter your contact information and our experts will get in touch with you shortly about your project.

You don't have to wait for an estimator to get an idea of how much your fence could cost. Our tool makes it easy for you to make informed budgeting decisions for your new fence.
